Hi, I'm Michelle Bigaut, a licensed and experienced pediatric occupational therapist with over 17 years of dedicated practice. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Science in 2007 and my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2008 from Dominican University of California. I am the founder and owner of ChildSync, a pediatric clinic committed to helping children thrive and supporting parents as agents of positive change. My approach is rooted in collaboration, working closely with families, educators, school administrators, and support staff to create inclusive and empowering environments for children at home, in school, and within the community.
Throughout my career, I have provided therapy across a variety of settings and have extensive experience treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing challenges, ADHD, developmental delays, learning difficulties, anxiety, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. My practice is grounded in a family-centered philosophy, with a strong emphasis on parent engagement and education to maximize therapeutic outcomes.

To remain at the forefront of my field, I participate in ongoing professional development, attending annual courses, seminars, and workshops. My advanced training includes sensory integration and processing, reflex integration, pediatric neurology, executive functioning, visual challenges, and managing anxiety and attention disorders in children. I have also completed the SOS Approach to Feeding Conference (Level 1), focusing on feeding difficulties in children aged 6 months to 7 years, and most recently attended DIR 101: An Introduction to DIR and DIRFloortime in June 2024.

I am a passionate advocate for children with special needs and continue to champion inclusivity and individualized support in every aspect of my work.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending quality time with my children and family. I find joy and rejuvenation in gardening, camping, cooking dishes from a variety of cultures, and reading historical novels. These activities refresh my soul and help me stay energized and inspired in both life and practice.

With a focus on helping children achieve their full potential, I work collaboratively with families, educators, and healthcare teams to support children in overcoming challenges related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living activities. I believe in a child-centered approach, tailoring therapy to each child's unique needs, strengths, and goals.

As a licensed and registered occupational therapist, I am committed to creating a supportive, engaging, and empowering environment where children can thrive and develop the skills necessary for success at school, home, and in the community. My approach is rooted in building meaningful relationships, promoting independence, and fostering confidence in every child I work with.

Whether in a school or clinic setting, my goal is to make therapy both enjoyable and effective, helping children navigate the challenges of life with improved skills, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment.

Hi, I’m Johnna (John-Na) Gadd, a licensed and board-certified Occupational Therapist with over 12 years of experience working with children in both school-based and clinic-based pediatric settings. Throughout my career, I’ve supported children with a wide range of needs, including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing challenges, orthopedic impairments, and medically complex conditions. I completed my Bachelor & Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and maintain my current licensure in California.
I’m in the process of earning my Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification to expand the tools and strategies I can offer, and I plan to pursue SOS Feeding certification in the near future.

In my work, I focus on practical, individualized support that helps children build functional independence in ways that matter to them—whether that’s participating in class, completing daily tasks, or interacting with their environment more confidently. I enjoy working closely with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to find what works best for each child. I also use programs like Handwriting Without Tears, Learning Without Tears, and the Size Matters Handwriting Program, adapting each to fit the child’s learning style and goals.

When I’m not at work, I spend time tinkering with my 3D printer, gardening, making jewelry, or trying out new slow cooker recipes—it’s always fun to find small ways to be creative and recharge.

Helping children grow and succeed in their own unique ways is the most meaningful part of what I do. I’m grateful to be in a field where learning never stops and no two days are the same!
