Pediatric Occupational Therapy Services

Developing a child’s motor, sensory, cognitive, and social-emotional development sometimes requires specialized help. As a pediatric occupational therapist, I evaluate the roles, routines, and daily activities of your child and determine what areas need to be enhanced and developed.

I provide clinic-based, focused therapy sessions that build your child’s confidence and growth in many critical life skill areas including play, sleep, eating, coping, and adapting to all environments.

Sensory Integration

Challenges with Sensory Integration, also known as sensory processing, can cause extreme reactions and anxiety.

Daily Living Skills

Getting dressed, brushing teeth,  and playing are all part of being a child. These essential basic skills and routines are often difficult for the child and parents to achieve.

Academic Performance

Being a student is hard work! If you are not armed with the necessary learning skills, it can be even more difficult to adapt and integrate with other students.

Feeding

Meal times can be challenging! There may be screaming involved, or just absolute resistance.

Social-Emotional

Learning to manage emotions and regulate behavior is a critical step in a child's social development.

Parental Support

Parenting a neuro-divergent child or a child with special needs is hard. Support and guidance from a skilled occupational therapist can make a noticeable difference.
